Shamshiri Grill

Halal Persian restaurant. The waiter is very courteous, answer all questions patiently and even recommended the best meal. The restaurant offers naan, butter and tabbouleh as starter. We ordered lamb kebab, lamb shank, lamb grill and chicken shawarma. Each meal comes with basmati saffron rice, grill vegetables and hummus. The meal was tasty and the portion was big. The pomegranate juice was concentrated, not fresh. I love the hotel ambience, tastefully decorated with Persian heritage. There’s plenty seatings and just nice for the right temperature. Service is fast and they clean immediately after you finish your meal.

Wonderful Persian restaurant near UCLA. Enjoyed the appetizer platter and lamb shank over rice. Amazing complimentary flavors in the appetizer platter and big portion sizes. I would get both of these items again. We enjoyed the food with wine and pomegranate juice. Many tasty items left to try here. Highly recommend. Was busy at dinner time. Street parking pretty easy.

I have been there two days back to back. What I can say: Delicious food, good service, friendly staff. Big portion. Really liked it and if someday I come back to LA definitely I'll try it again! Music was loud for a restaurant.

To me, this is one of the best Persian food restaurants in California. They always prepare the food as instructed. Quality of meat, rice is excellent. Service, high end. Their curbside pickup is great since finding a parking spot is always difficult.

We had a life celebration for my brother at Shamshiri Grill. The food, and the service was amazing. We booked for 15 & ended up with 34 attending. It was a Friday and Persian New Year, yet the owner went of his way to care of us! The owner came over and litterally said "don't worry, we'll take of you!" and it happend. We all ate too much and took home more food! Great place to celebrate anything!

Good Persian food, and the portions are huge, so expect to leave with leftovers. The ambiance is a cozy and welcoming vibe. The Shirin polo doesn’t look that great when you first see it, but it’s tasty. The koobideh was my favorite, with an ice cold glass of doogh (yogurt drink). Service is also good.

The Baseline: For a Persian restaurant the kebabs and stews must have the classic Persian flavors, the rice/hummus sides must be well prepared with taste, the ingredients must be fresh, and the dining experience must be enjoyable. Food: The lunch specials here are fantastic and feed you well. I got the Koobideh Platter and the beef skewer was delicious. The grilled tomato and onion really accompanied the meat. I opted for the green salad and lentil soup for starters which really kicked off the meal. I forgot to ask for the garlic sauce but I was told this is a must have next time. Service: We had a great waitress when we visited. She was friendly, efficient, and accommodating to a bunch of different orders. Great service. Water glasses always filled. Ambiance: Shamshiri looks like a Persian restaurant. Main points is that the table layouts were well spaced and maximized service flow. Clean restroom.
